Vire-Normandie is a commune in the department of Calvados, northwestern France. The municipality was established on 1 January 2016 by merger of the former communes of Vire (the seat), Coulonces, Maisoncelles-la-Jourdan, Roullours, Saint-Germain-de-Tallevende-la-Lande-Vaumont, Truttemer-le-Grand, Truttemer-le-Petit and Vaudry.[1] It is the seat (sous-préfecture) of the arrondissement of Vire.
