Solon is a former settlement in Kern County, California.^[1] It lay at an elevation of 2280 feet (695 m).^[1] Solon was located on the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad about 8 miles (13 km) east-northeast of Edwards.^[2] It appears on maps as of 1942.^[1]
