Solaro is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 15 kilometres (9 mi) northwest of Milan.
Solaro borders the following municipalities: Saronno, Ceriano Laghetto, Bovisio-Masciago, Limbiate, Caronno Pertusella, Cesate.
