Mergo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Ancona in the Italian region Marche, located about 40 kilometres (25 mi) southwest of Ancona. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,063 and an area of 7.3 square kilometres (2.8 sq mi).[1]
Mergo borders the following municipalities: Arcevia, Cupramontana, Rosora, Serra San Quirico.
