Sokolec [sɔˈkɔlɛt͡s] (German: Falkenberg) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Nowa Ruda, within Kłodzko County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] Prior to 1945 it was in Germany.
It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) north of Nowa Ruda, 28 kilometres (17 mi) north-west of Kłodzko, and 66 kilometres (41 mi) south-west of the regional capital Wrocław.
The village has a population of 230.
