Oleander is an unincorporated community in Fresno County, California.^[1] It is located 9 miles (14 km) south-southeast of downtown Fresno,^[2] at an elevation of 285 feet (87 m).^[1]

A post office operated at Oleander from 1881 to 1935, moving in 1899.^[2] The name honors its first postmaster, William Oleander Johnson.^[2]
