Mahouš is a village and municipality (obec) in Prachatice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 5.96 square kilometres (2.30 sq mi), and has a population of 144 (as at 28 August 2006).
Mahouš lies approximately 19 kilometres (12 mi) east of Prachatice, 19 km (12 mi) north-west of České Budějovice, and 117 km (73 mi) south of Prague.
