Favale di Malvaro (Ligurian: Favâ) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Genoa in the Italian region Liguria, located about 25 kilometres (16 mi) east of Genoa. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 505 and an area of 16.7 square kilometres (6.4 sq mi).[1]
The municipality of Favale di Malvaro contains the frazione (subdivision) Monteghirfo.
