Church, Warten
Warten (Dutch: Wartena) is a village in Leeuwarden in the province of Friesland, the Netherlands. It had a population of around 1020 in 2004. There is a restored windmill in the village, De Ikkers.
Warten is the hometown of Olympic gold medallist Marit Bouwmeester (2016: Laser Radial sailing).[1]
