Up A Tree is the first album from the Scottish group Looper.[1] It was released on Jeepster Records in Europe, and on Sub Pop in the US and Canada. Pitchfork credit the album with having originated the genre "Folk Hop"[2]

The album was recorded shortly after Looper had recruited two new members, Ronnie Black and Scott Twynholm.[3]
