Tel Afar District (Turkish: Telafer) is a district in Ninawa Governorate, Iraq. Its administrative center is the city of Tel Afar. Other towns include Rabia, Zummar, and Al-Ayadia. It has a mixed population of Iraqı Turkmens and Arabs
