"Psywar" is a single by Norwegian black metal band Mayhem. Released on 25 April 2014 via Season of Mist, it serves as a teaser for their fifth full-length album, Esoteric Warfare.^[1] It contains two songs: one of them, the eponymous "Psywar", would ultimately appear on Esoteric Warfare, while the second one, "From Beyond the Event Horizon", is a previously unreleased track recorded in 2012.

The song's name is a colloquial abbreviation of the term "psychological warfare".
