Profitis (Greek: Προφήτης) is a village and a community of the Volvi municipality.[2] Before the 2011 local government reform it was part of the municipality of Egnatia, of which it was a municipal district.[2] The 2011 census recorded 935 inhabitants in the village and 996 in the community.[1] The community of Profitis covers an area of 48.806 km2.[3]

The community of Profitis consists of two separate settlements:[1]
- Mikrokomi (population 61)
- Profitis (population 935)
