Petalomyrmex (from Greek petalos, "flattened" + myrmex, "ant") is a genus of ants in the subfamily Formicinae.[1] It contains the single species species Petalomyrmex phylax, known only from Cameroon. The genus is closely related to Aphomomyrmex.[2]
