Osiek [ˈɔɕek] (German: Ossig) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Lubin, within Lubin County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] Prior to 1945 it was in Germany. It was the birthplace of the Protestant Reformer Kaspar Schwenkfeld von Ossig in 1490. It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) south-east of Lubin and 63 km (39 mi) north-west of the regional capital Wrocław.
The village has an approximate population of 1,000.
