Modern Art is The Rippingtons' fifteenth album which was released in 2009.
The album is notable for being the first Rippingtons album to not feature a hand percussion player. Guitarist/bandleader Russ Freeman cited a desire to explore the possibilities of a smaller ensemble. [1]
