Masataka Nashida (Japanese:梨田 昌孝, born August 4, 1953 in Hamada, Shimane, Japan) is the current manager of the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles baseball team in Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball.[1] Previously, he was the manager of the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters from 2008 to 2011; he was also the last manager of the Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes in their history (he was the team's manager from 1993 to 2004). As a player, he played for the Kintetsu Buffaloes from 1972 to 1988.
