James 'Jim' O'Brien (born 1945) is an Irish retired hurler who played as a left corner-back for the Limerick senior team.[1]
O'Brien made his first appearance for the team during the 1960s and became a regular player over the next decade. During that time he won one All-Ireland winner's medal, two Munster winner's medals, one National Hurling League winners' medal and one All-Star award.
At club level O'Brien played with Bruree, however, a county club championship winners' medal eluded him.
