Indianapolis Monthly is a magazine published in Indianapolis, Indiana. Founded in 1977[1] the magazine was started as Indianapolis Home and Garden.[2] The magazine is owned by Emmis Communications, who bought it in 1988.[2] Its headquarters is in Indianapolis, Indiana.[3] It is a member of the City and Regional Magazine Association (CRMA).[4]
