Hovorany (German Howoran) is a village and municipality (obec) in Hodonín District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 21.00 square kilometres (8.11 sq mi), and has a population of 2,198 (as at 1 January 2008).
Hovorany lies approximately 16 kilometres (10 mi) north-west of Hodonín, 39 km (24 mi) south-east of Brno, and 225 km (140 mi) south-east of Prague.
