Hammarby are a Swedish motorcycle speedway team based in Stockholm, Sweden. From the early 1990s, there was not a Stockholm club in the Elitserien. It was something that the founder, driving force and club president Gary Selan changed in 2004 when he founded Hammarby Speedway. The club is a member of Hammarby IF, the Hammarby Sports Club, who have member organizations active in a variety of different sports.
