International Career
He is one of the previous team-captains of his national team until he retired. The mark of his retirement in football took place on September 16, 2010 in Amman at the King Abdullah Stadium in a friendly match between Jordan and Iraq in preparation for the 2010 WAFF championship. Faisal played the first 5 minutes of the match. As the match referee blew his whistle after the first 5 minutes to stop the match for Faisal to leave the field, Faisal gave the captain armband to his old international teammate Hassouneh Al-Sheikh as well as his #16 jersey to his old teammate of Al-Wahdat SC Basem Fat'hi.
