Eggesin (German pronunciation: [ɛɡəˈziːn], Polabian Gizyn) is a municipality in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district, in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany. It is situated on the river Uecker, 7 km southeast of Ueckermünde, and 42 km northwest of Szczecin.
