The common slug snake (Pareas monticola) is a species of snake found in Northeast India (Sikkim, Assam, Darjeeling; Arunachal Pradesh (Mokto - Tawang district)), Vietnam, and Southwest China (Tibet, Yunnan).[2] It is common.
