Chhata is a town and a nagar panchayat in Mathura district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.
Geography
Chhata is located at 27°43′N 77°30′E / 27.72°N 77.5°E.[1] It has an average elevation of 186 metres (610 feet).
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[2] Chhata had a population of 19,836. Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%.
