Charaxes dowsetti is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found on the Nyika Plateau in Malawi.[2] The habitat consists of montane forests at altitudes above 2,200 meters.
The larvae feed on Agauria salicifolia.
Taxonomy
Charaxes dowsetti is a member of the Charaxes jasius species group.
