Castel Morrone is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Caserta in the Italian region Campania, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) north of Naples and about 6 kilometres (4 mi) north of Caserta. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,007 and an area of 25.4 square kilometres (9.8 sq mi).[1]
The municipality of Castel Morrone contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Annunziata, Balzi, Casale, Gradillo, Grottole, Largisi, Pianelli, and S.Andrea e Torone.
