Bucanetes is a genus of passerine birds in the finch family. It contains two species:[1]
- Trumpeter finch, Bucanetes githagineus
- Mongolian finch, Bucanetes mongolicus
The genus name is from Ancient Greek bukanetes, "trumpeter".[2]
