The Ave Maria University Gyrenes are the athletic teams for Ave Maria University in Ave Maria, Florida.
The university is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA),[1] primarily competing in The Sun Conference, formerly known as the Florida Sun Conference (FSC).[2] In the spring of 2016, the Gyrenes joined the Mid-South Conference for football.[3] Ave Maria has also maintained a membership in the USCAA[4]
