Avatha garthei is a species of moth of the Erebidae family. It is found on Nias, Sumatra, Borneo and in north-eastern India.
Adults are similar to Avatha bubo, but have a distinctly paler, irregular submarginal fascia in a more uniform submarginal zone.[2]
