Aplochiton marinus is a species of fish in the Galaxiidae family. It is an amphidromous fish migrating between marine and fresh water.[1]
A. marinus is endemic to Chile.[2] FishBase lists A. marinus as a synonym of A. taeniatus (also reported in Argentina),[1] but IUCN treats it as a distinct species of its own.[2]
